Does eToro sell UK stocks?

eToro has stocks from 17 different global exchanges and that includes stocks listed on the London Stock Exchange (LSE).

You can buy and sell UK and international stocks on eToro commission-free.

After facing stiff competition from the likes of Trading212 and Freetrade, eToro introduced commission-free trading on stocks in 2019.

How many UK stocks are on eToro?

There are currently 319 London Stock Exchange stocks available on eToro. The list includes shares from FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 companies.

Unilever, British American Tobacco, Associated British Foods, Aviva, Barclays, IAG, EasyJet, Glencore, WPP and AstraZeneca are some of the large-cap companies available to buy on eToro.

Do I own the shares I buy on eToro?

Yes. eToro acts as a middle man between you and the seller/buyer. When you open a non-leveraged BUY position on a stock listed on the eToro platform, you are investing in the underlying asset, and the stock is purchased in your name. This also applies to fractional shares. 

Does eToro pay dividends?

Yes, dividend payments are credited directly to your eToro account.

You must hold the position(s) before the market opens on the ex-dividend date for the dividend payment to apply. You can check the eToro dividend calendar to see when dividend payouts are expected.
