High Yield

High yield refers to investments, such as bonds or funds, that offer relatively higher returns but also come with higher risk due to their lower credit ratings.

In finance, “high yield” refers to investments or financial products that offer higher returns or yields compared to other similar options with lower credit quality or risk. High-yield investments encompass various assets, including high-yield bonds, which are issued by entities with lower credit ratings, and high-yield dividend-paying stocks, typically associated with companies offering relatively higher dividend yields. Moreover, high-yield investments also extend to savings accounts or deposit products that provide above-average interest rates compared to traditional savings accounts, allowing savers to earn more on their deposits.
